The Tulsa Fire Department is looking for a person who investigators believe set fires at two businesses last week.

The suspect set a fire at the McDonald’s near East 21st Street and Sheridan before starting another fire at a food truck nearby. Surveillance video shows the person lighting crates on fire outside of the Mcdonald's. Andrew Little, Tulsa Fire Department, believes the person also set fire to a food truck down the street.

The damage to the McDonald's and the food truck was not serious, but fires like these can spread quickly.

"These are usually very progressive in nature so, next time it could be someone's home and there could be someone inside, you know there could be a death involved,” Little said. “So, we have to stop this early on before it gets to a more serious nature.”

Officials have made 23 arrests so far this year related to arson.

"When we see an individual maliciously setting fire to someone’s property, we have to put a stop to that as quickly as possible, and as a community, it's important that we keep our eyes out,” Little said. “We pay attention to our surroundings and in neighborhoods if you see people coming to and from homes that are abandoned, we need you to call the city and let them know that there is an abandoned structure."

Investigators ask anyone with information that could help identify this person to call Tulsa Crime Stoppers.
