Police Search For Man Involved In Early-Morning Armed Robbery

Police say a search is underway for a man who stole a car after a shooting in Tulsa on Tuesday morning. 

According to police, the victim told officers that he was dropping off a man near East 48th Street North and North Lewis Avenue, around 5:40 a.m. on Tuesday, when the person they were dropping off allegedly assaulted them and began chasing him down the street. Police say the man then began firing shots while chasing him. 

Police say the victim was able to get safely away but the man stole the victim's car and fled the scene. 

Police described the vehicle as a silver 2010 Buick.
