Family And Children's Services Host "Just Wear White" Fundraising Event

Family and Children's Services held a fundraising event Friday night to help pay for dozens of local programs.

The "Just Wear White Party" at ONEOK Field had cocktails, dinner, fireworks and entertainment.

Kacy Termini with our radio partners at 106.9 K HITS emceed the event, which raises money to help Tulsa's at-risk children and their families.

"This is one of our annual events that we love to do because it kicks off summer in such a positive way", said Dee Harris, the Chief Strategic Engagement Officer of Family And Children's Services.

Family and Children's Services says they help around 115,000 Tulsa children and families a year, including hurting and abused children, as well as families battling mental illness and addiction.
