Crews Work To Restore Power In Mannford After Damaging Storm

(UPDATE 1 p.m.:) The City of Mannford says crews have to get sewer and water back on first before crews can begin working on restoring power.

An update was provided on Facebook Monday afternoon. The City said power was restored at the water plant Sunday night, and crews hope to get the sewer plant power restored and the broken poles along Highway 51 repaired by end of day Monday.

Cleanup is underway in Mannford after the intense storm over the weekend left many homes damaged and without power.

The City of Mannford says it expects mutual aid crews to arrive starting on Monday morning to help restore power for residents in the area.

Currently, Mannford city officials say they are focused on restoring power to the water and wastewater plants.

Anyone who needs to charge their phones or medical devices can do that at the Community Building next door to the library on Monday.
