A man is in critical condition after being hit by a car near 71st and Riverside, Tulsa Police said.

The crash happened around 6 p.m. on Tuesday, police said.

A man was crossing 71st Street when he was hit by an SUV, according to police.

The driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, police said.

No citations have been issued at this time and they are still working to identify the victim who was hit, according to police.
