Mounds Public Schools Off Thursday Due To Voluntary Water Boil

Classes are canceled for Mounds Public Schools tomorrow because of a voluntary boil order for water.

Officials say problems at the water plant may pose a danger to those who drink it.

They are advising boiling any drinking water or drinking bottled water.

Mounds Public Schools says its planned Veterans Day assemblies will be re-scheduled to the day students and staff return.

They sent the following message on their Facebook:

Due to the current water situation in Mounds, Mounds Public Schools will be closed tomorrow, November 9th. In addition, tomorrow’s Veterans Day assemblies will be rescheduled to the day students and staff return to school. Thank you.
