98.5 The Bull Partners With Ronald McDonald House For Snacksgiving

It's that time of year again Snacksgiving with 98.5 The Bull benefitting Ronald McDonald House. Tige from The Tige and Daniel Show joined News On 6 at Noon to talk about the upcoming event.

Tige: Basically, we decided to take this on, because you might have heard about the Ronald McDonald House, but it's like, what exactly do they do? And what they do is, if you've got a kid that's sick, you can imagine if you need to be near the hospital, 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, that's, that's gonna cost a lot of money.

So the Ronald McDonald House lets you stay there, you can bring your family, and they actually cook for you at night. And you know, they bring families there. So what a kids like they like snacks, and there's a real need for snacks at the Ronald McDonald House.

And so tomorrow, my buddy Daniel, he does the show with me, he's going out to a local Braum's. And we've got four Braum's locations that you can actually donate. Autumn: Okay, great. People can give back to those in need. Now we were talking earlier, this is your second year of snacksgiving. Talk a little bit about some of the changes this year in comparison to last.

Tige: Well, one thing we did was we had it here at the TV station, the drive and it's a little hard to get downtown, you know, in the morning stuff. And so we said well, let's let's just go where the food might already be.

And so that's why we brought into it and they've got four locations of Braum's TheBullTulsa.com You can see all those and that way, hopefully it makes it a little easier for people to get it was a successful last year.

We're gonna be we want a big, huge one every single year. That's right.

The Ronald McDonald House is doing very amazing things for the families. You know, when a family is dealing with something like that, life is still going on, you still have a car payment and you still have a mortgage to make and to take away having to pay for a hotel room for 30 and 60 days.

They're doing wonderful work down there. One thing they need is a snack so we just want to load them up with snacks for the kids that come by and the parents would like snacks too.
