Hot Meals Distributed To Those In Need On Christmas Eve In Tulsa

A Tulsa group is making sure everyone has a hot meal to eat this Christmas Eve.

"Launched for Change" helps people with food insecurities and those who are displaced.

On Sunday, it welcomed the community to a dinner and also gave away winter packs, hygiene bags and coats.

"It's wonderful to see after a person eats, the smile on their face and they go home and their stomach is full, they're like thank you thank you thank you, that just brings joy to us," said Kimberly and Darryl Lockett with the group.

Organizers said the holidays can be especially stressful for vulnerable people, but everyone deserves love.
