Several students at a Glenpool middle school are facing disciplinary action after police said they allegedly discussed a school shooting last week.
Glenpool Police said that on Thursday, Jan. 25th, administrators were notified by students that other students were talking about "shooting up the school."
Police said the admin then told resource officers, who launched an investigation.
GPD said investigators visited the homes of the students accused while the district was on a scheduled distance learning day on Jan. 26th.
That following Monday on the 29th, police said witnesses were interviewed while the students in question were not on campus.
Then on Tuesday, the investigation concluded with school administrators and school resource officers interviewing the accused students.
Those students will be disciplined as allowed by school policy, police said. They may be subject to further action from one or more police agencies.
Glenpool Police said it "believes at this time that the threats made were not actionable by the student(s) who allegedly made them."
Police said at no time were any students in danger and all parents of students involved have been notified.
