Tulsa Hotel Hosts Pop Culture Convention

Pop culture enthusiasts got together for a fun convention in Tulsa on Saturday.

The event at the Double Tree Hotel near 61st and Yale had a little bit of everything.

From comic books to video games to retro toys to art, there were tons of exhibits to check out at Tulsa Pop-Con.

Many vendors come from small and local businesses.

"Supporting small businesses has been my favorite part. And like, because there's some really true talent out there. And that room is awesome," said attendee Kenyari Porter.

There were also several contests for those who dressed up as their favorite characters from anime or movies.
