Man Dies Following Shooting In Tulsa Neighborhood; Police Search For Shooter

A man is dead following a shooting outside a home in a neighborhood near Pine and Yale, Tulsa Police said.

Someone called the police after seeing a man lying in his neighbor's yard, officers said.

When officers arrived on the scene, they said they found the man dead. He had a gunshot wound under his left arm, police said. Witnesses said they heard someone yelling for help around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Officers said they have reason to believe the victim came out of a nearby house.

Police said there was evidence in the home suggesting some activity related to this crime, but they haven't said what that is. Investigators are working to figure out exactly what happened and said they are still working to identify the victim.
