Tulsa Ballet To Perform Romeo & Juliet At Tulsa Performing Arts Center

A Tulsa Ballet production of Romeo & Juliet is returning to the Tulsa Performing Arts Center. The original production by world-renowned choreographer Edwaard Liang first premiered in 2012.

This year's production will run from March 21 through the 24. It will feature live music from the Tulsa Symphony Orchestra.

“Edwaard has created a lasting masterpiece with his Romeo and Juliet. The entire work is well-structured, filled with exciting dance, perilous sword fights, romantic duets and heart-wrenching segments. No matter how many times I see this ballet, how many times I rehearse it and how well I know it, I always find myself in tears at the end of the show," Tulsa Ballet Artistic Director Marcello Angelini said.
