Turner Turnpike Reopened After Fatal Crash Near Bristow

The westbound lanes of the Turner Turnpike have been reopened after a fatal crash Thursday morning west of Bristow, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

OHP said the crash happened at around 2:15 a.m. when a person, who has not yet been identified, was crossing the roadway before being struck by a passing vehicle.

OHP said the two people inside the vehicle were unharmed, but the person crossing the street was pronounced dead at the scene.
