Mayes County Man Arrested, Accused Of Making Lewd Acts To Teen Girl

The Cherokee Nation has charged a Mayes County man for attempting to have sex with who he thought was a teenage girl.

Investigators said Bobby Kirk started messaging an undercover account on social media earlier in August of what appeared to be a 15-year-old girl.

It said Kirk sent explicit images and repeatedly asked to meet up for sex.

He's now charged with two counts of making lewd proposals to a minor.
