Man Dies At Fort Gibson Lake

Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a 70-year-old Tulsa man died on Fort Gibson Lake Friday afternoon.

OHP says Pedro Pamirez-Anaya was swimming with his wife when his wife says he made a weird face. She says Ramirez-Anaya then did not respond when she asked if he was okay but he made a motion to his chest. The wife says he then went unconscious and went into the water.

OHP says the victim's wife attempted to hold his body above water and two passersby tried to assist her.

The victim was transported to a medical examiner who will determine the cause of death, according to OHP.
