The Big 12 has announced its 20-game men's basketball schedule for its 16-member schools. Oklahoma State will open conference play at home against Houston on Dec. 30 and will also host Senior Day on March 8 against Cincinnati.
After facing Kansas State at home on Jan. 7, OSU will host four consecutive home games against Big 12 newcomers: Arizona on January 21, Colorado on Jan. 18, Utah on Feb. 1, and Arizona State on February 9. The February schedule also includes home games against Texas Tech, UCF, and Iowa State.
OSU's early road trips will feature visits to West Virginia, Utah, and BYU. The Cowboys will also head to UCF on March 5th. Additional road games will include Texas Tech, Kansas State, Houston, TCU, Kansas, and Baylor.
The Big 12 has been recognized as the top men's basketball conference, having the highest NET average for four consecutive seasons. Each school was assigned a balanced schedule based on geography and historical performance.
All teams will compete for the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship from March 11 to 15 at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City. Oklahoma State will kick off the season with a charity scrimmage against SMU on Oct. 26 before officially starting the season on Nov. 4 against Green Bay.
OSU will also face Tulsa at the Reynolds Center on Dec. 4 and OU on Dec. 14 at the Paycom Center in OKC.
