PSO Responds To Hurricane Helene With Recovery Teams In Florida

Hurricane Helene made landfall late Thursday night in Florida as a Category 4 hurricane, bringing significant damage and disruption to the area.

In response, several teams from Oklahoma have traveled to Florida to assist with cleanup efforts.

Among those responding is Travis Andrews, a member of a team from Public Service Company of Oklahoma.

Speaking to News On 6 from just outside Fort Walton Beach, Florida, Andrews described the current conditions and outlined their goals of helping restore power to affected communities.

The teams will work diligently to address the damage caused by the hurricane and support residents in their recovery efforts.
