Tulsa Police Arrest Man Accused Of Eluding, Leaving Scene Of Crash

Tulsa Police arrested a man accused of street racing near Pine and Garnett before taking police on a chase Friday night.

Police said they were called about reckless drivers and saw a white car not staying in its lane, so they tried to pull it over.

The driver, Jamariea Thomas, did not pull over and started a pursuit with officers for about a mile until he went off-road into the ditch.

Police said he got out of the car and hid in a bush before officers arrested him for leaving the scene and eluding police.
