OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- State health officials say they have had to close four restaurants since Oklahoma's smoke ban went into effect last month.
Three of the four establishments have reopened.
Under the ban, restaurants must be either smoke-free or have a separate ventilated smoking room.
Of the estimated 8,000 restaurants in Oklahoma, officials say only 135 are building smoking rooms with separate ventilation systems.
Officials say most establishments appear to be complying with the new regulations that went into effect on March 1.
