One of the contractors working on the Central Park Project at 6th & Peoria has gone bankrupt.

The chairman of the third penny sales tax oversight committee - Bill Vogle - says the contractor responsible for the "park" part of the project has filed for bankruptcy.

Contractors responsible for the drainage and the community center are still hard at work.

Vogle says the project is almost finished, and work on the park will continue despite the bankruptcy.
