A teacher health insurance bill is in the hands of Governor Brad Henry. The bill requires the state to pay 100% of single insurance premiums for all teachers and principals.

Right now, the state pays 58% of teachers' health insurance. School districts typically pay 17% and teachers pay the remaining 25%. Governor

Henry says he'll sign the bill. He calls it an important step in making sure Oklahoma teachers stay in the Sooner state.
