Glenpool Police are waiting on lab results before arresting their prime suspect in this weekend's kidnapping of a 5-year old girl.

The girl was taken out of her bed, through a window. She was found about six hours later and now her family is both relieved to have her home and sickened by the man who took her.

News on 6 crime reporter Lori Fullbright says Angel is a typical 5-year-old, likes to swing and smart as a whip. Hard to believe she'd been snatched from her own home early Sunday morning by a man witnesses say was drunk and high.

Her parents realized she was missing when they got up for church. Angel’s mother Kimberly Gonzalez: "Instantly, I knew she was gone. I hoped she'd gotten behind the bed. I was so scared, I was in hysterics." Police and neighbors immediately responded, fearing the worst.

Glenpool Police Chief Larry Bible: "She was in a bedroom where the window is right there. It'd previously been broken and had Plexiglas over it. So, the suspect just removed the Plexiglas and pulled her out and went on."

Less than an hour after the 911 call, Angel was found, about six blocks away in front of an abandoned house.

Angel told her Mom and Dad that after the man left the house, she came out here to the drive-way and tried to flag down a car, but no one saw her so she sat down and eventually laid down and fell asleep right on the concrete. That's when a woman driving by saw her and called police.

Police say teenagers, including the 19 year old suspect, hang out at the abandoned home, drinking and doing drugs.

Glenpool Police bagged the suspect's shoes and clothes for testing at the state lab. They want to see if the mud on his shoes matches the dirt under Angel's window.

While police focus on the case, Angel's family focuses on her. Kimberly Gonzalez: "She was up all night having bad dreams and talking in her sleep. So, we didn't sleep. We had everybody in the same room last night so we could just hold our kids and sleep with them."

Police say this is an isolated incident and were able to hone in so quickly on a suspect because Angel gave them a detailed description of the man and the house.

They say other girls and neighbors had seen the suspect earlier and he was clearly messed up, but no one reported him. A hospital exam showed Angel had not been sexually abused, although she told her parents the man slapped her.
