The hard to miss DTV Trekker pulled up to Rogers State University on Monday.
The National Association of Broadcasters has sent teams of DTV experts across the nation to inform consumers about the transition to digital television.
If you're still relying on antennas and rabbit ears the switch to DTV is coming February 17, 2009.
Nearly 17% of households in Oklahoma risk losing their TV signals unless they take necessary steps to upgrade their television sets.
"I don't see any reason to have an HDTV, but I'm aware I have to have some kind of box," said David Nichols.
A lot of the confusion about the switch is over the converter box. It retails for $40-$70 in stores, but the government is issuing two coupons for each household worth $40.
"The number one question is how I get the coupons? There's two ways to get the coupons. You can apply over the phone at 1-888-DTV2009, or you can apply online at www.DTVanswers.com," said Latrice Griffin, DTV spokesperson.
Buying a converter box is not your only option. You can purchase a TV with a digital tuner or connect your analog TV to cable or satellite.
If you still have questions about the switch, the next DTV Workshop held by The News On 6 will be Saturday, May 17, 2008 at Mathis Brothers near 71st and Highway 169.
