Turning Your Highway Cruiser Into An Off-Road Monster
The guys at Sam's Off Road Equipment have some of the coolest toys, but they can't always go rock crawling because they have too much work to do!
"Very busy," says Cody McGuire. "Lot of people have their vehicles serviced for the summer, go out and have a good time, whatever. Today we've got airbags were putting on one truck, a front-end alignment repair on another truck, a lift kit on a Bronco."
How much can you spend turning your tame highway cruiser into an off-road monster?
"Endless," explains McGuire. You can literally spend any amount of money you want. Larger tires, suspension lifts, drive train upgrades, bigger axles, motors."
And Cody says the sport is growing every day.
"Very big. More and more people are getting into the off-road to enjoy the outdoors, and have fun with their families. It's a good, clean, fun sport," says McGuire.
But what kind of trucks do the guys at Sam's Off Road Equipment like?
"Most of us have Jeeps," says McGuire.
The owner of Sam's has a competition rock racing buggy and they will all be out at the 4th Annual Memorial Day Run coming up.
