Strong, gusty winds and low humidity levels are combining to create high fire danger for several Oklahoma counties.
In Eastern Oklahoma, a fire weather watch is in effect for Saturday in Kay, Noble, Osage and Pawnee counties.
Extremely dry and windy conditions are expected, along with humidity values in the upper 20 percent range. Wind gusts up to 30 mph are possible, according to the National Weather Service.
Avoid any kind of burning, because any fires that develop likely will spread rapidly, the NWS says.
