The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said Tulsa Police captured a person of interest in two homicides that happened in Elk City and Sayre over the weekend.
The Beckham County Sheriff's Office says Gregory Killough was taken into custody Monday morning. Killough, 49, is a person of interest in connection with both deaths.
One of the homicides happened early Sunday morning in Elk City, and they believe the second happened later in Sayre. Elk City Police said a woman was found dead in a parking lot in the 400 block of N. State, and her vehicle was missing.
Sayre Police located the woman's car in the 100 block of W. Sadler and found a man dead inside the home. The male victim's truck was missing, OSBI said.
The Beckham County Sheriff's Office posted last night on Facebook that they were searching for Killough but that he was not listed as a suspect yet. They put out a bulletin on the missing truck, and Tulsa Police pulled it over after midnight, according to OSBI.
OSBI said Tulsa officers found a handgun in the truck.
The names of the victims have not been released.
