Former Oklahoma State Representative Mike Mass was critically injured Friday night after a two-vehicle crash.
According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol around 6:30 p.m. Mass's vehicle was struck by a second vehicle as he attempted to turn north onto Highway 69 just north of Stringtown, Oklahoma in Atoka County.
Troopers said he was pulling out of Fred's Fish Camp Road, trying to go northbound when he was hit by a southbound car.
Troopers report that Mass's wife was a passenger in the car and died at the scene. Mass was transported to McAlester Regional Hospital with several injuries.
OHP says the driver of the second vehicle, Joseph Campbell, was taken to Atoka County Hospital with internal injuries but say he is in stable condition.
