Man Dead After Being Hit By Pickup Near Grand Lake

A man is dead after being struck by a vehicle in Mayes County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 49-year-old Gerald Wyche was hit by a pickup Saturday evening on State Highway 28 in Pensacola.

Troopers say Wyche was pronounced dead at the scene.

They say three people in the pickup were injured and were taken to the hospital, where they were treated and released.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
