Tulsa Lewd Molestation Suspect Captured In New York

A Tulsa man charged with two counts of lewd molestation is in custody in New York state.

Investigators say Alex Scott inappropriately touched a young child he knows at a Tulsa home and then disappeared for nearly a month.

Police in Long Island found him earlier this month.

They say Scott told them he had driven from Oklahoma to New York to commit suicide.

Scott is currently in a psychiatric hospital.
