Hobby Lobby To Buy St. Gregory's University, Documents Show

Hobby Lobby is moving forward with plans to buy Saint Gregory’s University in Shawnee.

Documents show the Oklahoma City-based arts and crafts chain is buying the campus for $8 million. The university closed last year due to financial problems. Financial records show the sale is expected to be finalized in December.

Hobby Lobby and the Green Family will reportedly donate the former St. Gregory's University *campus to Oklahoma Baptist University.
