Tulsa Police are investigating an armed robbery at a Tulsa McDonald's. Police were called to the McDonald's south of the Promenade Mall around 8:40 p.m.
Police said there was a female cashier in the restaurant when a taller male came inside and demanded cash. They said the man was wearing a hoodie with the hood tied very tightly around his face so you could only see his eyes.
That's why they said it's hard to get a suspect description.
There were no customers inside, and no one was hurt, police said.
At this time, they don't know how much was taken, but they do know he got away with some cash. Police said they don't usually respond to a lot of robberies in the area but on Monday they have responded to two near 41st and Yale.
"I mean, it's been some time since we've responded to something like this but earlier tonight we did have an incident where a car was stolen outside of Old Navy, but that's the first one we've had in a while," said Sergeant Kurt Dodd.
Officers are working on getting surveillance video so they can release a suspect description and possibly a vehicle description. In the meantime, the McDonald's is still open.
