Tulsa Police are looking for a suspect in a deadly shooting in West Tulsa.
Detectives say the victim was shot and killed in his driveway.
Police believe Levi Dunkin is a possible suspect in the deadly shooting.
Neighbors said they're worried for their safety as police work to track him down.
At the corner of Admiral and 33rd West Avenue, crime scene tape lines the home of Jerry Caudill.
"That was my step dad. He came into my life when I was five years old. He's a really good man. Everybody has their flaws, but no one deserves to die," said Kiana White.
Police said Caudill was found dead in the driveway of his own home Friday with a gunshot wound to the leg.
"EMSA helped us. They tried to treat him, and they declared him dead," said Sergeant Dedlorn Sanders.
Police said two teenage boys were riding their bikes near the home when they came across the body of Jerry Caudill and immediately ran for help.
"I had a knock on my door; they said Pops had been shot he needs help can you please go help him," said family friend Belinda Henson.
Henson said she was shocked when she heard the news.
She said Caudill, affectionately known in the neighborhood as "Pops" was loved by many.
"He was a father figure to all the young kids in this neighborhood," Henson said.
Police are looking for Levi Dunkin who they say is a possible suspect.
Six people were at home at the time of the shooting. Officers say Caudill may have been arguing with Dunkin.
Friends and family members said they hope he's caught soon.
"He might as well just turn himself in honestly. If he knows what's good for him," said family friend Randy Pegg.
Dunkin is no stranger to police. He's pleaded guilty to drug charges and having stolen property.
If you know where he is, call 911.
UPDATE: An officer came over to correct himself and say the two people who first saw the body weren’t kids...but that they were 18 year olds.
