Several Tulsa area police departments invite you to have "Coffee With A Cop" this morning.
October 3rd is National "Coffee With A Cop Day" and several area departments are participating.
The event is designed to encourage communication and positive interactions between law enforcement and the public. Each department says there is no specific agenda, they simply encouraging one-on-one conversations with the officers.
You can come with a question, concern or just say hello.
Bixby Police are hosting their event at the McDonald's at 121st and Memorial from 7 to 9 a.m.
Broken Arrow Police are hosting their event at 8 to 10 a.m. at Jimmy's Egg at 4850 East Kenosha Street
Jenks Police are meeting at the McDonald's at 605 West Main also 8 to 10 a.m. and Bartlesville Police will participate in an event at the Grand Lake Mental Health Center at 700 South Penn from 8 to 10:30 a.m.
