Tulsa police have made an arrest in the murders of two Muskogee brothers killed earlier this month at a Tulsa shopping center.

Officers were called to the 5600 block of East Skelly Drive at 10:50 p.m. Wednesday, September 5.  They arrived to find 61-year-old Keith Williams and 53-year-old Glenn Williams dead next to their car.

Police say the brothers supervised cleaning crews at various businesses around Tulsa and had been called to a business by one of their crews on Skelly Drive to check out a suspicious vehicle parked nearby.

Officers say both men were walking toward the car when someone inside the vehicle shot them then drove away.  Both died at the scene.

Police say Ondriel Smith was arrested and has been charged with both murders.  He is also suspected of shooting two people outside of Tulsa’s Incredible Pizza recently and is accused of shooting two others in the past several months.

Sergeant Brandon Watkins says Smith was stopped for a traffic violation and was arrested for having a gun as a former felon.

He says that officer sent pictures of Smith’s gun to the homicide unit and the crime lab connected it to both the Incredible Pizza shooting and the double homicide.

“We had a name of Ondriel Smith.  The ballistics came back on the gun and turns out that the same gun was used in the Incredible Pizza shooting as was used in the double homicide,” Watkins said.

Police say there was already a warrant out for Smith’s arrest for another shooting that happened in April.  They say Smith is also connected to a shooting in another city.

Sgt. Watkins says what is unique about Smith is that he’s accused of shooting so many people.

“This guy had a reign of terror that’s been going on since at least that time, and we are still looking at yet another shooting we believe happened in another municipality,” said Watkins.  “You’ve got at least six different people with holes in their body because this guy decided he wanted to shoot someone.”

Tulsa Police say the brothers are the city's 36th and 37th homicides of 2018.
