The Cowboys are regrouping for a trip to Kansas after the home loss to Texas Tech.
They will also be down a starting receiver who is transferring.
Mike Gundy didn’t elaborate much on the loss to Texas Tech. He said the Red Raiders’ schemes were better than OSU’s and that things snowballed on them in the second half.
Then, before he wrapped up, Coach Gundy announced that veteran inside receiver Jalen McCleskey is transferring.
“We had a good meeting this morning. I told him I didn’t think it was the best decision, but I certainly would support it, just like I would my own son that would be that age, if that’s what he chooses to do,” said Gundy. “Hated to see it happen, but if that’s what he wants to do, then I cannot prevent that from happening.”
