A Tulsa school principal is praising students for being vigilant after they reported another student who had brought a gun to school.
Webster principal Shelly Holman says students told staff a classmate brought a handgun to campus on Thursday. Campus police immediately responded and took the student into custody.
The school says no one was hurt.
This is the second time in a week this has happened at a Tulsa area school.
Owasso Police say a 16 year old was arrested for bringing a loaded gun to school and it was another student who told administrators about the gun.
