Drivers on Mingo Road will notice some lane closures starting Tuesday as construction crews begin work on a new street project.
The City of Tulsa says those closures will happen sporadically and will impact north and southbound traffic on Mingo between 41st and 51st.
Workers will be replacing damaged concrete panels with new panels starting Tuesday.
The city says the contractor will work on a few blocks at a time, with one lane closed and the other three lanes remaining open.
It's part of the "2014 Improve Our Tulsa Third Penny Sales Tax" plan with the city spending nearly $700,000 to make these repairs to Mingo Road.
Completion of the project is scheduled for the end of February 2019.
