Tulsa Man Found Guilty Of Murder In 2016 Shooting

A jury found 20-year-od Jakhai Adams guilty of Murder in the 1st Degree on Thursday.

Adams was charged with the murder of his roommate Mohammed Tareq in 2016. Tareq was shot to death and detectives say they found his body in a sleeping bag.

Sentencing will be held on October 22, the jury has made a recommendation of life.
