You can apply for a number of commercial licenses and of course as a patient.  To be able to get your medical marijuana patient license, you must have the recommendation of a physician, as well as a number of other documents. 

Unless you have Medicare or SoonerCare, it costs $100, is nonrefundable, and is good for two years.

There has been some controversy about the rules created by the state Health Department Board, but those are the rules for now, if and until the legislature takes action.
