Muskogee War Memorial Seeks To Preserve Items From NJ Sub

Representatives from the Muskogee War Memorial are in New Jersey in an effort to preserve some World War II history.

Officials at the New Jersey Naval Museum in Hackensack say someone burglarized the USS Ling, on Saturday, August 11th, flooding the submarine which is similar to Muskogee's USS Batfish.

The New Jersey museum is trying to find other museums to take on some of their items including torpedoes and guns.

Muskogee War Memorial officials are in New Jersey looking over those artifacts. 

They are asking people to step forward and help fund moving some of the items to Muskogee.
