Prosecutors charged a Bartlesville woman with first-degree manslaughter and leaving the scene of a fatality accident following the death of a Bartlesville motorcycle rider in a hit and run crash on Saturday, August 18th.
According to BartlesvillleRadio.com, an affidavit stated 48-year-old Millie Thompson was allegedly driving a car which struck and killed Cleo "Cotton Bowl" Lewis.
Police say Lewis was riding east on Frank Phillips Boulevard when a Ford Taurus ran a stop sign and hit Lewis. He died later at a Tulsa hospital.

Police say they found the car believed involved in the crash parked at a home in the Oak Park neighborhood. When questioned, Thompson claimed damage to her car was old, but police said there was damage on her car which was consistent with the damage pattern of the motorcycle.
Cleo Lewis' funeral is set for 2 p.m. Friday, August 24th at Bartlesville's New Harmony Baptist Church.
His friends say Lewis didn't miss any toy run or biker event around town, so they are hoping the motorcycle community will show up to give Lewis "one last ride" from from the church to the cemetery.
