Stolen Van Recovered After Tulsa Burglary Call

Tulsa police are still looking for two young men who they say ran off after crashing a stolen van. 

Police responded to a stolen vehicle call around 2:30 Monday morning near 41st and Yale. The vehicle was described as a green van.

Later that morning, around 6:00 a.m., officers were called to a burglary from a car in progress near 31st and Yale. The suspect's vehicle was described as a green van. 

After driving the area, officers spotted a green van and attempted to pull it over when the driver made a wide turn and crashed into a brick wall. Two young men got out of the car and ran off. 

After running the tag, officers learned the green van was the same van from the stolen vehicle report earlier that morning. 

Officers found a rifle, handgun, flat screen TV, and other items that were later identifies as loot taken in multiple burglaries. 

No injuries were reported and no arrests have been made.
