High Water, Flash Flooding Cause Problems Across Green Country

Heavy rains and flash flooding has caused problems across a large part of Green Country.

Sunday morning’s rains led to traffic problems, cars stalled in high water, and road closures.

Numerous roads in Tulsa were closed due to high water, including South Memorial from 41st to 43rd, South Sheridan near 43rd, and South Yale at 31st.

Many other streets are under high water, but have not been blocked, so please be careful and avoid driving into water if you can’t see the road’s surface.

High water also caused potential problems for area businesses.  Pictures sent to us by viewers show cars at several auto dealerships caught in the flash flooding.
