Police are investigating after they say a group of three men robbed a couple in east Tulsa. The victims told police the three men threatened to kill them if they moved from the couch in their home.
At the Carriage Village near Admiral and North, Mingo neighbors are frightened after the robbery.
"It's just scary, you know? You never know what's gonna happen," said neighbor Julie.
Tulsa police say just before 1 a.m. three men followed a couple into their home. Officers say the trio was armed with handguns and forced the couple to stay on the couch.
Police say the men stole prescription medication, a purse, cash, and cell phones.
Julie says she let the victims use her phone to call 911. Police say the robbers are described as between 18 and 20 years old.
Witnesses told police they saw a darker vehicle, possibly a BMW speeding away from the scene with the headlights off. Julie believes she may have seen the same vehicle earlier in the night.
"I was at my sister's around 11:00 and a black BMW passed, and that car doesn't live here. And it passed with the lights off," said Julie.
She and other neighbors hope the three men don't make another visit to their neighborhood.
"We're just scared that they might be back. Get in other houses. Something worse is gonna happen to people if they don't get what they want," said Julie.
