Two Rogers County parents were arrested after deputies say they were on drugs for the first day of school.
Deputies say Paige Walker, 26, was taking her child to school when she crashed into another vehicle in front of the Sequoyah Claremore school. They she had what appeared to be a drug-induced seizure before hitting the other vehicle.
Deputies say when they called her husband to pick up the child, things got even worse.
"We had called her husband and asked her to come pick up the child because she had a child in the car with her and when he arrived on scene he also had a seizure and discovered he was also high on narcotics," said Rogers County Sheriff's Sgt. Logan Eller.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol arrested Paige Walker on a DUI complaint and called the Department of Human Services to take custody of the child.
