Police: Runaway Tulsa Girl Says Man Molested Her, Woman Didn't Intervene

Tulsa Child Crisis Unit investigators arrested a Tulsa man and woman accused of the abuse and neglect a 13-year-old girl

Richie Draper is charged with one count of child sexual abuse and is being held on a $50,000 bond. Janelle Jeroldine John is charged with child neglect and failure to report child abuse.

Both were arrested Tuesday, August 14.

An affidavit states police were called to investigate a report of lewd molestation earlier this month. They spoke to a juvenile girl who told them Draper touched her inappropriately.

The girl told police she reported the abuse to Janelle John, but John didn't do anything. The girl was taken to the Children's Advocacy Center for an interview and medical exam, documents state.
