One person is dead after a shooting in Tulsa.
Police responded to the scene near 46th Street North and Osage Drive around 5:00 p.m. Monday.
Police said a man was sitting in his vehicle when another person approached, made a gang-related comment, then shot the man five times.
Police are still looking for the shooter.
Police say the investigation is in the early stages.
They say the 27-year-old man had met up with a woman, who was a school friend, at a restaurant and, when he was dropping her off at her house, someone ambushed him, shooting and killing him.
Investigators say the shooting is possibly gang-related and the victim has a history with Tulsa police.
“A lot of this is going to go into the victimology of the victim, what’s he been into, that sort of thing,” said Sergeant Dave Walker. “We’ll be running all that down.”
