A Tulsa man was arrested after witnesses told police he threw two women out of a pickup and assaulted them. Offices arrested Michael Scott Evans Tuesday, May 1.
The arresting officer said she was speaking to several witnesses on around 10 a.m. when she heard a woman scream and a man run off. She spoke to the man, identified as 31-year-old Evans, and learned the red Toyota pickup he was in was stolen.
She arrested him and officers took photos of one of the women who had "strangulation marks and bruises," the arrest report states.
Police said Evans was intoxicated on some form of substance and unable to cooperate with officers. He was booked on complaints of possession of a stolen vehicle after felony conviction and domestic assault and battery by strangulation. He's in the Tulsa Jail Wednesday.
The location of the arrest was redacted on the arrest report.
