A teenager is recovering in the hospital after being wounded in a drive-by Tulsa shooting in the 2000 block of North Columbia Place. Police say it doesn't appear to be a random event.

Tulsa police say they got the call around 9:30 Monday night that led them to a home near Virgin and North Delaware Boulevard. Police say one teenage boy was shot in the lower half of his body, and it's not clear if he was the intended target.

He's expected to survive.

The North Birmingham shooting took place just a few hours before and also sent one person to the hospital. That person has already been released. Police say in that case, several people went to a home to try to buy drugs.

They say one of the people at the house shot at the group - giving that victim a gunshot wound to the face. Both of these shootings are still under investigation.
