The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a motorcyclist was killed when he crashed on a McCurtain County highway Saturday evening.
Troopers said the crash wasn't discovered until just before 1 p.m. on Sunday after 60-year-old Anthony Martinez of Haworth, Oklahoma did not make it home Saturday and friends began a search. The OHP says Martinez was last seen at a nearby store Saturday, shortly before the accident was believed to have occurred.
Troopers said the crash happened on Highway 3, north and east of Wright City.
The OHP reports Martinez's 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle was eastbound when it appeared he lost control and went off a curve of the highway.
Their report states Anthony Martinez was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
